Spring time is Surfing time. That we don’t have access to the sea in Switzerland doesn’t mean we Swiss don’t surf. Straight after the snowboard season everyone is off for Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, Hawaii to catch some waves.
So does Mirko Schadegg, Zimtstern Surf Ambassador. Every year April he switches from boots to thongs, from snowboard to surfboard. Exploring the Maldives for the past 10 years he is now on the hunt for some uncrowded pumpin’ waves in far Eastern Indo. By boat, of course! How else do you get to Sumba and East Timor?

After the Japan trip Hans didn’t go too far away from his house to make sure he won’t miss the birth of his first son. So Kalle came up to Umeå and the two of them did what they always do: Hunting for new spots. Check out the cable roller spot in the video below…
