Bottom Line will be available in October on iTunes and as a limited-edition DVD and 100 page artBook. The world premiere is on on September 16th, in Innsbruck.
This year’s pirate movie project is called “Bottom Line” and represents the best of Euro shred. Our Team Riders Hans Ahlund and Björn Hartweger have been collecting shots for the movie all around the world again. You should stay tuned for the teaser and enjoy the summer until premiere season is ON again!
It’s been a while since we had news from Björn Hartweger, Hans Ahlund and the Pirate Movie Production Crew of their trip to Japan. They have been hunting some fresh snow out there for a couple of weeks to gather some nice footage for the new Pirate Movie, coming out in automn 2011.
We were worried about them when we heard the terrible news about the earthquake, tsunami and finally the imminent nuclear disaster caused by explosions at the atomic plant Fukushima. But finally they all came home safe!
Check out Björn Hartweger in the new PirateLog: It’s about two very different sessions in the Austrian Alps. On the one hand hand made quarter pipes are fun for sure, but air time is more likely to be found in a machine made park like the one in Sölden! Either way it’s about how you ride it…
Did you know that Zimtstern Snowboard Team Rider Björn Hartweger has a pretty creative hand too? He has one page in the 2011 Cappuccino Club Charity-Calendar. From Snowboarding to Art to 100% Charity: With the revenue of the calendar the Cappuccino Club supports selected projects to help the people in Kirgistan to survive. Kirgistan knows similar conditions as we have in the alps: high mountains, a lot of snow and low temperatures – but instead of funny snow parks they have to deal with bitter poverty ad a daily struggle for survival.
