We’ve already seen some snapshots of the Zimtstern Skateboard Team’s shooting trip to Luxembourg. Now Happy Ivo finished a fresh little edit of the week. Thanks for that!
The boys are back from a busy weekend in Biel/Bienne: As always they built up the miniramp and spent the weekend skating with local friends and everyone who wanted to join. Again Mickey Iglesias won the competition in the Men’s category. As he already got his freestyle.ch ticket in Estavayer-le-lac, this time we gave it away to the winner of the kids category, Janosch Spycher.

After a short break, the Zimtstern Miniramp is now ready for the next tour stop. This weekend our dreamteam Happy Ivo and Ced la bombe will build it up at the X-Days in Biel. It’s gonna be a home game for both of them as they grew up in the hood.
What an epic snapshot, isn’t it?! Thanks Happy Ivo for letting us post this one here! Good to know that Ced la Bombe is still standing – no fracture, no graze, no scar!
The last Miniramp tour stop at the Boardstock in Zug last weekend was much influenced by steady rainfalls. But still, our Skateboard Team and the other skaters on-site were blessed with some dry hours on Sunday. That was the chance for the new kid on the block, Felix Hergert, who came all the way from Munich, Germany, to ride a session with his new buddies of the Zimtstern Skateboard Team, Ivo Schneiter, Cedric Romanens and Fabian Dörig.
No miniramp tour stop last weekend but a lot of action in Luxembourg at the skate shooting. The Crew (Fabian Dörig, Ivo Schneiter, Cedric Romanens, Silvio Barro and Dominic Zimmermann) found tons of sick spots and was blessed with the nicest weather what resulted in a great number of awesome shots. Special thanks to all the locals and of course Howzee and our crew for making this happen!
Howzee is on tour with our skateboard team to get some lifestyle and action shots done of our next years summer collection (Spring/Summer 2012). This year’s location: Luxembourg. We’re looking forward to get to see all the shots! Check as well Howzee’s blog.
Summary of last weekend at Openair Frauenfeld: A lot of beats, a lot of skateboarding, a lot of hot sunny hours and about the same amount of rainy, muddy moments. The Zimtstern Miniramp was part of the freestyle.ch-TUBE. All visitors were invited to pass by, skate with the pros around Happy Ivo and Ced la Bombe, enter the competition for freestyle.ch tickets and Zimtstern credits, become a freestyle.ch ambassador or just to party and enjoy the tunes of the great DJ’s and band line-up!
As it was pretty hot in Frauenfeld and even hotter in the tent, the skaters decided to stick to just one dresscode: topless!

Partytime!

The Miniramp Tour stop at Free4Style was a huge success. Everyone in Estavayer-le-Lac was waiting for our dream team Happy Ivo and Ced la bombe to build up the Zimtstern miniramp one more time. Together with their friends from the French speaking part of Switzerland they were skating nearly round-the-clock, pushing eachother to the next level. In the end Mickey Iglesias won the competition on Sunday and Brandon Bacor got the freestyle.ch-ticket for the best trick.
The Zimtstern Miniramp is on tour again! Numerous events and festivals in Germany, Switzerland and Austria are on the schedule. Where it appears, no skate deck will stay safe, whether for a friendly jam session or for a contest battle.
The tour has already started in May at the CLASH in Berlin (D) and this weekend the Miniramp joins the Free4Style in Estavayer-Le-Lac (CH). After that it will go on to the Openair Frauenfeld (CH), the Boardstock in Zug (CH), the X-Days in Biel (CH) and the Freakwave in Bregenz (A). We are giving away a ticket to the final session at legendary freestyle.ch in Zurich (CH) at every foregoing event.
After each gig the Miniramp, broken down into its 122 parts, is being driven to the next stop on its own trailer. Follow the happenings of the Miniramp-Tour here in the Zimtstern Blog.
